![]() Very excited about my new project! The Motor Trimaran Camila! The first yacht of its kind that will navigate the Galapagos Islands! very honoured to be able to do all the interior design. After 6 boats that I have built, I can share with you a couple of secrets today, first.. designing yachts came to me as a gift from heaven, I was just helping a company, where I have shares, to save costs by using my good taste (read it with lots of modesty hehe) to decorate the first yacht..well it turn out to be a disaster! but it served it purpose and most of all taught me great lessons! Second, by the time the fourth boat was built, I was working as a sales manager for this product, so I had the insides of the clients requests, and that gave me an advantage over other designers: the knowledge of what is that clients want! And third...going on board of all of these boats gave me the guests experience! There I learned special things, for example a beautiful roman curtain made a lot of noise during navigation making it imposible to sleep and the doors from the closet were slamming here and there permanently! oh boy!, So now, having all the sides of the story I can say that I am confident enough, that this yacht will be beautiful, trendy yet safe and comfortable. Colours already picked up, classic style in furniture, raw strong materials and a mix and match of the old and the new. I will keep you posted on the way!
